Wild Moon Camp

17 - 20 August 2024

Dartmoor National Park

Is there a wild song inside you, that’s longing to be set free?

Do you feel the call for some time to yourself, in pristine nature, with women, with your voice and your heart? Time to slow down, to soften and connect….

How would it be to court the Wild and in doing so deepen your relationship with your own wild soul?

After a remarkable beginning last year Wild Moon returns……

Immersed in stunning nature, deep in the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, we’ll gather together to connect with the land, the solidarity of sisterhood and the spirit of our voices.  We’re excited to say that this year there will be some juicy new elements to enrich your experience and (hopefully) make it even more fulfilling!  AND a whole extra 24 hours together so that we can be even more fully immersed in the beauty…

Calling on the power and wisdom of the August full moon, to fill us up, move through our voices and bodies and help us remember our wild nature as women, rooted in the earth and the cycles of nature, we’ll weave the threads of our prayers together, moving and voicing in circles under the moon and around the fire.

What to expect

  • Guided journeys to awaken and empower your authentic voice

  • Solo time in nature supported by vocal scores as a framework for free expression and intuitive plant wisdom

  • Workshops in co-creative circle singing, song-weaving inspired by the land and Collaborative Vocal Improvisation

  • Morning movement explorations into the landscape of feeling, where we will connect to the nature of our bodies and with each other

  • Full moon celebratory ceremony, with singing, drumming and dancing under the moon and around the fire

  • A welcoming sanctuary for creativity and connection, to yourself, the wild and a gorgeous group of women

The focal point of our gathering is the central fire in the White Deer Lodge, an ancient feeling, cosy roundhouse. Our activities weave out from here and onto the surrounding land which is a 63 acre mosaic of ecologically rich habitats; including conifer and native woodland, wetland and wildflower glades. This magical site is committed to re-wilding of land and people, with particular focus on keystone species including beavers.  Maybe this year we will have a sighting !

“Wow. I am lost for words. What has been created in such a short amount of time has been so powerful ! The land, the spirit, the facilitation has created such a safe place. I am full. Thank you so much, beyond grateful for Wild Moon Tribe"

“With immense gratitude and love to Bella Lilley and the authentic, diverse, and incredibly compassionate women who stood/sat in circle with voice, drum and full presence at the Wild Moon Camp on Dartmoor a few days ago.  What I encountered were not only incredible “sisters in song” but also a group of diverse and strong women who held their “sisters in circle” without ego/agenda but with immense compassion, competency and care.  What I re-discovered deep within myself was a authentic voice which had lain dormant for some 49 years.  To you Bella and “my sisters” who wove such beautiful harmonies through the sharing of your unique selves….the wild wild of women voice, drum and of the land….my immense gratitude for giving back under the orange full moon the keys to harmony and opening a new door on this miraculous journey through life.”
